Author Led Book Study - Be the Flame with Shane Saeed

Middle level educators know that relationships and rapport are the most important foundational pieces to a successful classroom. The hard part is knowing how to build those impactful relationships. Join Shane Saeed, author of Be the Flame, and learn how to become a "teacher flame" through relationship building practices that can be implemented in your classroom this spring. In this author led book study, you'll learn 

• Kindling rapport with students one-on-one
• Igniting a community among your students
• Catching onto relationships with the families of your students
• Fueling relationships with teammates and coworkers, and
• Establishing an online community to spread ideas, learn, and grow with

Additional details:

• CAMLE members may participate in this book study at NO COST. 

• Others may participate for $25 per book study. Attendees at the 2022 annual conference are 2022-23 members.

• Each book study will offer synchronous and asynchronous learning components.

• There will be opportunities for asynchronous online discussion, activities, planning and application of key concepts, sharing artifacts and learning, and reflection.

• Each book study will take place over a 2 month period.

• Book studies will be staggered to allow for participation in multiple groups.

Participants can purchase 0.5 graduate credits from Adams State University for an additional $55.00 if desired.
